Results of Lithuanian Film Tax Incentive

Implemented in 2014, the Lithuanian Film Tax Incentive covers up to 30% of the production budget, the scheme will be effective in its current form until 31 December 2028.

Since 2014, 472 productions have benefited from the Lithuanian Film Tax Incentive by getting a total of €89,72 million in investment for film production. 

The scheme was used by:

  • 99 foreign films;
  • 96 co-productions;
  • 277 national films.

Investments for film production were granted by 325 local companies in amounts ranging from 1000 to over 1.6 million euros. This year Lithuanian business companies invested more than 21 million Euros through this scheme.
