About the film
Andrius and Liuka, offsprings of Šatai and Kaminskai families living in a countryside, falls in love with each other, however their love is disrupted by… a cow. When a cow, who was sold to Kaminskai by Šatai, dies two families start to fight with each other. Andrius and Liuka’s relationship becomes a forbidden affair. In the hope of reconciliation between two families, Andrius promises to Liuka to buy a new cow, but everything goes even worse.
This is a lyrical story about memories of childhood, adolescence, and first love in a small provincial town, shown through complexity of human relations at this periodical film.
