Lithuanian film heritage

Lithuanian Film Centre works consistently to digitize and restore the heritage of Lithuanian classical cinema for preservation and public access, providing distribution of these films nationally and abroad. 

Currently collection of restored films includes more than 30 feature, animation and documentary films. The films are digitized and restored in 4K resolution in cooperation with Lithuanian and foreign iamge and audio restoration specialists, film directors, experts and cinematographers.

 

 

Public screenings:

Lithuanian Film Centre is the copyright owner of films made by Lithuanian Film Studio from 1940 to 2004. Centre issues screening licenses for theatrical and non-theatrical film screenings.
