MIDPOINT Intensive Lithuania announcing project selection
2019-04-17We are pleased to announce the selection of 4 projects for our first MIDPOINT Intensive Lithuania workshop aimed at Lithuanian film professionals.
The projects will participate in a 4-day workshop in Kaunas (May 5 – 8, 2019).
The selected projects and participants of MIDPOINT Intensive Lithuania are:
Inesa Kurklietyte (Writer/Director), Zivile Gallego (Producer)
Birute Kapustinskaite (Writer), Ernestas Jankauskas (Director), Gabija Siurbyte (Producer)
Laurynas Bareisa (Writer/Director), Klementina Remeikaite (Producer)
Irena Kuneviciute (Writer), Egle Vertelyte (Writer), Ieva Biliunaite (Producer)
Renowned script consultant and scriptwriter David Pope (United Kingdom) will act as the Group Leader, and the workshop will consist of group feedback, individual consultations and plenary sessions and meetings with international decision-makers from the film industry.
The workshop would conclude with the pitching session of participating projects in front of an industry-expert panel. The pitching training will be conducted by Gabriele Brunnenmeyer.
MIDPOINT Intensive Lithuania is supported by Lithuanian Film Centre.
MIDPOINT is a training and networking platform for script and project development operating under the auspices of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague.
It is aimed at creative teams of writers, directors and producers from Central and Eastern Europe. MIDPOINT operates as a year-long center that organizes a wide range of programs.
