The Lithuanian Film Centre (LFC) has become a patron of the European Women’s Audiovisual Network (EWA). With this new partnership, the LFC supports both the presence of its local members in the network and the initiatives organised by the EWA in Lithuania.

Cinemas in Lithuania, which were re-opened on 5 June 2020, are closing again for three weeks starting on 7 November 2020, in an effort to contain the spread of the coronavirus. Lithuania has so far recorded 18,092 COVID-19 cases since the outbreak of the pandemic. The country currently has 12,765 active coronavirus cases and 5,082 recoveries, with 35,403 people in self-isolation.
Today for the 14th time begins the International Film Festival for Young Audiences Filem‘On, in Brussels, and this year it is particularly welcoming to Lithuanian filmmakers’ films. Lithuania is the featured guest at the festival and as many as seven Lithuanian films for younger viewers will be screened at the festival this year.
