SOFA – School of Film Advancement continues its mission to support the realization of film-related projects in Europe
For the second time SOFA – School of Film Advancement will hold a workshop in Vilnius, Lithuania from September 17-21, 2019. Here, selected SOFA alumni will get the chance to present their projects in front of experienced private investors and representatives of European public film funds. This way SOFA offers its participants and their cultural projects direct access to potential financing partners from the public and private sector.

Netflix Original Series Young Wallander Filming in Lithuania
Young Wallander, a new Netflix original series based on Henning Mankell’s best-selling Kurt Wallander novels, is shooting in Vilnius from 24 August 2019. Lithuania‘s Ahil is providing services. The production is benefitting from the Lithuanian tax incentives.

Call for entries to Vilnius International Short Film Festival 2020 now is open
Vilnius International Short Film Festival is now excepting new film submissions to the International and National competitions. Filmmakers can submit fiction, documentary, animation, experimental and hybrid genre films up to 30 min. which are completed after January 2018. Submission deadline: 1 of September, 2019.
