Lithuanian-Canadian Film-Maker Scores Double Selection in Tokyo
The Tokyo Lift-Off Film Festival has awarded Official Selection status to Jacob’s Recall and A Journey to Rome – Discovering Venus Anh — two short films by writer/director Michael Sundberg (Lit. name: ML Sund).

RECOMMENDATIONS REGARDING THE MANAGEMENT METHODS OF COVID-19 DURING FILMING

Baltic Pitching Forum 2020: new call for short film projects and the guest country Poland
Baltic Short Film Project Pitching Event „Baltic Pitching Forum” announces its new call for short film projects. This year a Guest Country of the Forum will be Poland. The event will invite twelve short film projects – three from each Baltic country of Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and three from Poland — to come and pitch in front of a panel of invited experts. The eighth edition of the Baltic Pitching Forum will take place in Vilnius, Lithuania on 8th-10th October 2020. Application deadline – 2nd of August.

Lithuanian Film Centre Announced Production and Development Grants for 2020 1st Session
The Lithuanian Film Centre has announced the results of the first financing session of the year: 2 681 096 EUR was distributed among 48 film projects in production and development.

Winners of the 7th Baltic Pitching Forum announced
The 7th edition of “Baltic Pitching Forum”, which took place on 10–12th of October in Vilnius, has come to an end. This year the Forum expanded its horizons by inviting Finland as a Guest Country. Three Finnish short film projects participated at the Forum alongside Lithuanian, Latvian and Estonian filmmakers and presented their newest short film ideas in front of the International Panel and Lithuanian Producers’ Jury.
